Bayern vs. Gladbach in German Cup, Dortmund vs. Ingolstadt

 Bayern Munich will face Borussia Monchengladbach during the second round. Ingolstadt, the second division's second-division champion, was awarded a home draw.

Bayern has a chance to make up the 1-1 draw at Gladbach in Sunday's draw. This is their first game of the Bundesliga. They have met seven times in the cup, with Bayern winning each time.

Other Bundesliga duels will be held in the second round, including Bochum vs. Augsburg and Mainz vs. Arminia Biilefeld as well as Stuttgart vs. Cologne.

Union Berlin will travel to third division Waldhof Mannheim while Hertha Berlin, a city rival, was drawn at fourth-tier Preussen Munster. After Wolfsburg's elimination from the competition due to using too many substitutes in its first round match, Munster was drawn at fourth-tier Preussen Munster.

Babelsberg was the location where Jesse Marsch's Leipzig was drawn. This club of fourth rank is well-known for its support of refugees and political activities.

Bayer Leverkusen will face second division Karlsruher SC. Hoffenheim plays Holstein Kiel and Freiburg will play Osnabruck.

Dynamo Dresden was drawn in against St. Pauli. Regensburg against Hansa Rostock. Hannover against Fortuna Dusseldorf. Nuremberg against Hamburger SV were second-division duels. Schalke will travel to third-division 1860 Munich.

These games will take place on October 26 and 27.
