Spotify Greenroom is now live and will debut its weekly hip hop show "Most Needed: Live" with host Brian "B." Dot" Miller.
B. Dot will be bringing Spotify's most necessary playlist to life. Dot will discuss the rise of hip-hop artists and debate current topics in the genre. Dot also plans to dive into each week’s playlists and edits with fans and guests.
In March, Spotify acquired Betty Labs. In June, it relaunched Locker Room as Spotify Greenroom. The company announced that this was "the addition to live audio as part in the Spotify ecosystem".
Billboard.com reports that "Since we brought the Locker Room app to the fold, it has been working to expand its capabilities with a goal of creating an audio experience that will delight creators everywhere"
B. B. They often start in the booth but end up on social media. "I've never been one who holds back, and anyone who has followed my career knows that I have a lot," he said to Billboard.
B. Dot intends to "create an environment where conversations are not only engaged and constructive but also reflect the weekly updates." "Most Necessary Live" will be released on Spotify Greenroom in September 14.
